they come barefoot and you have to lace them yourself and if you are a perfectionist like me it will take you a good hour to change. I've had Osiris before, but they've always been very accurately pre-laced from the Journey store. I had to lace and unlace and relace them because I couldn't get the style right and also there is a bit of room in the heel so I lace them a little tighter to prevent foot lifting at the top of the boot when You go. However, I also advise/negate/order ordering a half size smaller as in my experience with the type of plastic it's made of, the stress of a tight fit means it's more likely to tear over time when tightened and wears out. I learned this the hard way with the very first pair I bought many years ago. I never want to be that uncultured person who wears a bow on her hi-tops and I couldn't in my life figure out how to tie them without tucking the extra ends of the laces into the shoes, but I will tolerate they are so hot. Pair them with blue jeans and a white t-shirt for a minimalist yet stylish outfit.
