I have a hot spot in one of my helmets. I've tried a number of ways to resolve the issue, including several different skullcaps. It's very comfortable and the seams, which are almost non-existent, run up and down the sides of the forehead instead of across. Long story short, this solved my hotspot problem. In fact, I just ordered a backup that I'll probably use in my other helmet, although it already fits well.
