I had one of these that worked fine. I liked it very much. Then I bought another device and gave away the original. The new one didn't work so I've now bought it to replace the MOT based on the reviews. The reviews didn't match my experience at all. It's easy to use - just like the other one I gave away, it was square metal and held 12 pieces. It worked great and the eggs were ALWAYS easy to peel. This works exactly the same. Measure the water, pierce the shell and wait. But this one never gets them right, projectiles are always a problem. So I bought another one just to see if they were eggs - and the eggs from the same box worked fine with the other, but not this one. The other worked fine, and even the one that was originally supposed to be replaced worked better. Not at all a fan of losing half an egg every time because they don't peel. Something just doesn't work here like other models, so I sent it back.
