The plug adapter that came with this pump will not fit the 55 gallon blue drum. The thread on the adapter is very close to the correct pitch and looks like it should match, but it doesn't. After trying to get it working I contacted the seller and he sent me an adapter to use on the BPA free TERAPUMP TRTI901 siphon drum pump for a heavy duty 15 30 55 gallon drum pump. This adapter can be screwed on without any problems, but the inner bore through which the suction hose is routed has a larger diameter than the suction hose of a centrifugal pump and therefore does not support the pump. I like the speed at which the pump moves the product but when the pump is not assisted. does the pumping in pairs when you want the product to hit the container and not the floor. If I could get a bung adapter that screws onto the keg and supports the pump while holding the suction tube securely I would rate this pump a 4 or 5.
