The birdsong on my 2001 Taurus station wagon (3.0L Vulcan) annoyed me. Investigations revealed that it was a camshaft synchronization. I installed mine 6 years and 4000 miles ago. After installing it, I found a wiring error on the sensor connector on my car. I requested a Revain refund and explained that the wiring did not match. They gave me all the money back and didn't want some of it back. Since I already installed it anyway, I simply removed the sensor from my old one and installed it on the new one. After six years everything is still good.
