I bought these to hang family photos on the wall. Unfortunately the hook on the back is very flimsy and not even glued or nailed. It slipped off when I moved the back to insert the photo. Wood, but instead the photo and the back of the frame are held in place by tiny latches that I had to loosen to get my installed photo in and tighten to keep them inside. It's disappointing because I can't hang them up. on the wall as there is a significant gap at the back. And as I mentioned earlier, the hook isn't glued or nailed to the frame, it's basically a "clip" that attaches to the base. I have space to hang them, so that's fine with me, but if you want to hang them 100% on the wall, you'll be very disappointed with the hook (although it might be okay if the groove has a groove would be). the back can slide up). I think that due to the fact that it has a stand on the back it will never hang well on the wall. All in all a very nice frame, a bit rustic but not old, looks high quality but is not really very good and should probably not be attached to the wall. There are some hardware marks on the back that may damage the art or photos if nothing goes between them (pictured).
