Low physical and optical profile

Purchased to attach a kayak to a fiberglass camper hull roof. Place one at each corner in line with the top of the side windows. Without a ring, they are barely perceptible and there is no wind noise. My durability rating is for what they are, not a giant tether. Holds a kayak or a couple of 2x4s but I wouldn't trust them tying a dog to someone's roof or dead grandma.
