When I received this keyboard I was thrilled. I liked the feel of the keys (although it's a membrane keyboard), the backlight was cool enough (although it was only really available when plugged in, otherwise it would drain the battery very quickly), and it had all the features I wanted needed . In search. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that the product had a fatal flaw (which I don't usually overlook): the battery is NOT user-replaceable. This means that after the Li-Ion cell found in the keyboard dies after about 2 years, the circuit board essentially becomes garbage. Upon further research, I discovered that this is an issue with all wireless keyboards that Corsair sells, a fact to be ashamed of. When asked on their forums what to do if the battery dies forever, the only suggestion was to use it from the mains, which clearly defeats the purpose of a WIRELESS keyboard. I'm tired of companies making products that are essentially disposable. The keyboard should last at least 10 years, if not much longer. Businesses: Stop berating our wallets - and our planet - for selfish purposes. PS There is a competitor that makes a board with removable batteries. I'm typing on it right now and it's great.
