I was looking at a few portable coffee mugs and settled on this one. What I immediately liked was that it's made of 30-ounce stainless steel and has a detachable handle and fits in my car cup holder. I like the second lid and the metal straw for cold drinks. It keeps my coffee warm until lunchtime, while previous mugs didn't keep it warm during my car ride to work. Since owning this mug, I've encountered two practical cons: It's a flip-top lid if drinking liquid leaves a drip. on the nose, because when the top is open, it will come into contact with your nose when drinking. I think the manufacturer would have addressed this by relocating the flip cap at a 90 degree angle. The second issue I noticed is that when the liquids are hot, the cap is so large that the lid can almost pop off due to the expansion of the air in the mug when the liquids are very hot. I actually had to leave the flap open a bit to act as a safety valve to keep the lid from blowing off. Overall I am very satisfied and no longer have to worry about the coffee attacking my shirt and tie in the morning due to a leaking coffee cup.
