I just 3D printed my dock extension that holds my GameCube adapter, but running the GameCube cables through my living room to my TV stand is a chore (especially with GameCube third-party controllers) and often very short cables). These extensions really did the trick for my setup! The plugs on extension cords are very tight, so you're more likely to pull the cord out of the adapter rather than the extension cord. I also didn't notice any noticeable lag in Smash when using it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to extend the length of their GameCube controllers!
