First of all I wanted my 15 week old baby to be in those 'typical' bags after all. But I can't say they are very similar to diapers, more like a soft sleeping bag. The other immediate concern was size. It looked MASSIVE without the packaging and I followed the company's recommendations for size and weight. The instructions say to wash and dry and it really helps a lot, the size was more what I expected. I used to use very resistant diapers and sometimes "wrapped". I would say if your child is used to less restrictive diapers then the change should be easy, but be aware that if your LO is very used to compression this may not be the case. I am sure that I will get many benefits.
