Disappointing Holiday Lights

I purchased these outdoor lights for my home and kitchen seasonal decor and was extremely disappointed with the results. While the lights were easy to install, they did not live up to the advertised "meteor shower" effect. The lights simply flickered on and off with no resemblance to a meteor shower .The only redeeming quality was that they were durable and lasted through the holiday season..
