My spoon broke about 1/4 of the way through the cookie dough. Before it breaks completely, the shovel cleaner blade only goes 1/2 of the way over the shovel. I endured it even though I was disappointed. Then I made Christmas presents out of cookies and... Klunk! The shovel blade stuck and did not move. A piece of cookie dough got under the blade of the spatula, there was more dough on my hand after the blade slipped off the guide and kicked the cookie dough, and there was a lot of dough left in the bowl waiting for me to scoop it out , measure and pour just right. No, I would not recommend this gadget. In fact, the mechanical failure was so traumatic that I'm afraid to try another brand. I'm sorry for the children. Christmas cookies are limited to candy bars this year. I have nothing left to dig. [sniff]
