Wanted to order 7/8” but accidentally ordered 5/8”. It's quite a big difference, but it's my business. I chose this because I was in a hurry and it worked for my project. I ordered this particular velcro because it was the best price I could find. It would be the same price if I order 3/4" or 1" - either would be closer to what I needed. I understand it's the same price for a slightly wider width. This velcro holds up well. It is a sew-on type and does not stick to the back. (For my project, I stapled it together, which worked). They are not entirely symmetrical - the border/border on both Velcro strips is slightly wider on one side than the other. I recommend this as the best value, but I recommend you double measure and double check your order so you don't make the same mistake I did.
