Wow, I turned a fan into clay gloves. After many hours of struggling with a clay bar, you know what I'm talking about tiny pieces accidentally dropped, folded, folded and folded. Now just put on a mitten, moisten with a spray and smooth away the baked-on residue. It's much easier and faster and 90% less frustrating. You can feel the glove picking up sand much more easily than with a pole as your whole hand is doing the work and feeling the dirt being picked up. I don't know how long the gloves will last but even if it was just for a few jobs on a full machine it would be worth it. Be sure to use a good clay spray as the glove covers a large area. Beyond that, it works about 80% the same as a small handmade clay bar. Especially in hard-to-reach places. The glove is intended for maintenance rather than full recovery. This won't completely eliminate the need for a tone bar, but it will definitely help minimize reliance on a tone bar alone. All in all, this is a great item for semi-annual cleaning. Saves a lot of time and frustration. Does a really good job for what it is. Just buy one, at least you'll find plenty of uses for it even if it doesn't replace your clay bar.
