There's nothing fancy about this expansion tower...just an on/off switch, but I like its simplicity. There's nothing wrong with that, so I assume it will last for many years. There are 12 sockets and 4 USB ports. The power cord is 6 1/2 feet long so I plugged it into an outlet at my desk and placed it in the back of my desk...this time the power cord is long enough that I don't have to set it up in a tower. on the ground. It's priced comparable to other products of its kind, well made, the power cord is durable, easy to use and comes with instructions should you ever need to reset it. This is a good product and I rate it 5 stars.
