Don't lie. When I first got them I was worried about leaks and woke up flooding my basement as I never use them. I'm used to either soldering copper tubing or priming and gluing PVC tubing. I'm a bit of a controller, and when I moved into my house many years ago, I vomited a horror that was a pipe leading from a well pump into my basement. Install a whole house filter, a pressure tank, other detachable and carbon filters, a water softener, etc. After many years of use, the softener failed and all mechanisms began to leak. I wanted to take that out and install a de-iron filter instead as our sinks and toilets need constant cleaning and some of our lighter weight clothes are 'machined' due to stains. I have read many reviews of Sharkbite Connectors here and elsewhere and have ordered them. Damn, they came back, so why not? I cut the CPVC to length and connected everything to the elbows, adapters and valves. One day I put everything together, crossed my fingers and opened the water. Hm,. so far so good, but let's wait and see. turned on the water throughout the house and watched everything pop and shake as air exited the system and pushed to 70psi. Good. So far, so good. We washed up and went upstairs to eat. went back downstairs, checked for leaks. went to TV (The Boys - started slowly, but QUALITATIVELY). My wife and I took turns checking for leaks. Went to sleep. got up a few times. and that was a few weeks ago now. Not a drop of water and none of the pipes tried to slip out as we had marked them all for that purpose. These things rock! One of the things I like most is that you can rotate fittings (i.e. pipes can still move, rotate, etc.) without leaking, meaning it's all very forgiving when you dial in the length deviate little and everything is not 100% straight and TRUE. . he builds up. PVC and copper do nothing. and I can also move things a few inches if needed without cutting/dismantling pipes etc. I'm a convert!

Pros

Cons
