Stool Polyfill. If it gets flat, just use more fiberfill. The leather and stitching are very good but the stitching could be better prepared as they compress instead of lying against the skin. Little problem. It's been over a year since I bought this stool and it has only gotten better with time and use. Most of the pinched seams straightened up with use. I still prefer cotton over polyfill but that was mentioned prior to purchase. As he ages, he will only develop more character. And if it gets a little flat, just add more fiberfill or replace with . cotton batting. Overall, this is a well-made stool that will serve you for many years to come.
