Here's the problem: Either 1. Most reviewers haven't used other brands' floor mats on their Teslas, or 2. Maybe flimsy floor mats are all the rage. For me it was a categorical NO, these mats came in a small box and folded easily. Now, if that's what you want for your $39,000-$70,000 EV, then so be it. One of the first things to consider is the price. These floor mats compare to some of the best options available. I've used and learned from the use of various companies over the past few Teslas. These mats should definitely not be in the price range of a TuxMats set or a 3D spider. The two brands mentioned have a few amazing things in common, firstly they are strong and durable and they grip the floor very well to protect it and they have the right attachment to hold the floor mats on the OEM carpet without the risk of slipping. or adjustment while driving. The HEA carpets didn't offer this and didn't even have a backing that better matched the OEM carpet. Now fit is one thing and protection is another. The carpets fitted well, but lacked the protection/durability you should expect from a $200 floor mat kit. I was disappointed because I had high hopes that it would be a good third option if the 1/2 options weren't available. Unfortunately, at this price, save your money and buy a higher quality product that will give you years of enjoyment and hassle free maintenance.
