My new favorite wall plate

I have 4 of these installed throughout the house and plan to install at least 4 more in other rooms later. They have become my new favorite wall plate for multimedia devices and televisions. I'm not a professional installer or anything, but being able to run cables in the wall and in the attic (COAX and network) has been a goal of mine for a long time. I chose these because they weren't too big and deep enough to fit a flat TV. On the bottom panel, a recessed feature allows your entertainment device or other furniture to be a little closer to the wall. I made a simple change to my records. I'm not a fan of brush plates as I didn't want to run cables in the wall directly to the devices. I took a more modular approach which I think is a million times better (see attached photo). To do this, I simply removed the brush plate and installed a plate with a 6-port keystone connector. This allowed me to customize the types of cables I could use and after purchasing the appropriate keystone jacks to fit the panel, the whole setup looked solid. Now all connections are connected inside the wall and outside, I only have to connect the cables to the connections that I need at the moment. In general, the installation is somewhat "simple". If you don't feel like cutting holes in the walls and may need to drill bolts and/or fire blocks, you can hire someone to do it. Anyway, when you're done, these wall panels will make your room super clean by eliminating the clutter of media and power cords for all your entertainment devices.
