I wish the product range here could be looked at separately. I used this whole set - helmet, stem/holder and nozzle. - It's been about 2 months now. Received as a gift, wife bought from her Indiegogo. A very brief breakdown of each product review: - Phone holder/pole: ** (2 stars) - Unreliable, may drop your phone on the pavement at a random time. BIG IDEA, but don't trust her with your multi-hundred dollar phone. I'm only giving 2* because I think I can still use a stem if I find a better holder.**** (4 stars) - To be honest this thing could have gotten 5* if it just fixed a few minor issues. More detailed assessment: The helmet is the centerpiece here and deserves attention. So I'll start with that. The good news first: I drive a lot long distances and have always hated being on the road without music, but didn't want to use headphones. I've tried o-tus speakers (sounds crappy and still depends on the cable), bone conduction (interaction between them, goggles and helmet has always been a big problem) and other wading solutions but nothing ever worked. worked well enough that I was happy with it. The speakers in this helmet, while not super hi-fi, sound pretty reasonable and have a decent volume. Very happy with the sound function. Once I've adjusted the headlights, they work fine too. Very noticeable, bright enough. The Bad: Your app development team is not doing very well so far. I am using Nexus 5X, Bone. I won't go into all the problems that the older versions of the app had (although they were really big problems); but the current version *still* refuses to detect motion (although strava and ridewithgps work fine), doesn't work when it's not an active app, and when active has serious power consumption issues (for reference: I use my phone in kindle, and with the screen on, reading, I get 6 hours - with this app running, screen *off* and phone in my jersey pocket, I could do 4 - and all the time I feel like that put that ding in a hot potato in your pocket there's also a little issue with the helmet firmware, to turn it on or off you have to hold the button for 3 seconds it often won't turn on you have to the Factory reset helmet to turn on) If the app is working properly I might give it 5 stars despite the power issue, but if both were fixed I'd say this helmet is a TVE RDYE 5 *. that it could be really cool; This essentially allows you to skip music tracks forward/backward and enable use of the helmet's taillight as a turn signal. Unfortunately, see above - the application is very problematic, so I do not want to use it. The malfunction of the application fundamentally affects the coolness of the aircraft. Also, the beam mount is not very reliable; The retaining clip isn't tight, meaning the nozzle will slip out of its mount over time - and if it's dropped, despite its small size, unless you're looking directly at it, you probably won't notice until it's lost. in the unknown somewhere far behind you. I'm tempted to give it a 1* as it's basically useless to me, but I'm giving it a 2* as it would be really cool if they fixed the app. Stem/holder: great idea. The battery works perfectly. Too bad the phone holder just broke on my 4th trip. No fall, no impact - I was driving in downtown Seattle and looked down when I got near the light and noticed it was rocking HEAVY - touched it to check and the whole top just fell out on me the hands! The stem and mounting arm are rock solid and the mount itself appears to be well designed, but the attachment between the mount and the arm is flawed; If you use it, you run the risk of throwing your $000+ phone on the sidewalk to be run over by a car behind you. I'm trying to find a holder that I can really trust and will probably end up using a battery/stem. but I will never trust her owner again.
