Negative reviews are left by tech ignorant people who don't understand that your phone can't turn on 5 headphones at the same time without losing some volume. This is because a very weak device signal from the jack is powering the mini speakers in the headphones. Of course, as more speakers are powered, the power delivered by the jack will be evenly distributed, delivering less power to each speaker. For those who understand how this product works, that's great. There's nothing wrong with that, it's solidly assembled. Connections are solid, works with mono and stereo jacks. One thing, however, is that they need to add an image that explains how the headphone volume loss will look like on a mobile phone or tablet. It seems that many people cannot understand this idea.
