So, this is not a real test yet. It's more of a detailed guide on how it works than what you get when you open the box. no matter how thin or small. It didn't say anything about making sure your phone wasn't in another type of case and I just put my Galaxy S20 right on the bay and it fitted perfectly. until I tried stuffing the compartment into a waterproof case ie it got a little tight which I found good as it's supposed to be waterproof but my phone got stuck halfway into the case and I didn't think I'd get my phone back could get out without damaging the whole case. . Luckily, with patience, I was able to get my phone out and get it out of the case it was in. Then the phone slipped out easily. Secondly, when you scan the QR code in the instructions to get the blue tooth function app (for Android phones), Chrome will tell you that the app is not allowed because it is unknown and therefore as uncertain applies. You need to go into your settings and allow this in Chrome. It's not difficult, but it's an extra step that isn't mentioned.3. The third thing to know is that in the box you also get a small pouch with a tiny screwdriver and a battery. There is absolutely no indication that there is a battery compartment anywhere on the device or that there is a place to install a battery. No no. I couldn't figure out what the battery was for or where it went until I set everything up, did a test run with bluetooth on, then did a water test. Everything was going fine, but I still had this mysterious battery. I ended up sending it back to Amazon just looking at the pictures. It finally dawned on me that one of the photos showed the Bluetooth unit separated from the case. Of course, I went back to the case, looked at the orange Bluetooth part, and saw a small indentation that allowed it to be pulled out of the case with a fingernail. Then, inspecting a separate compartment, I saw four screws that fit a tiny screwdriver, unscrewed all the screws, and slowly opened the case. Since there wasn't a single mention anywhere, I moved very slowly to know exactly how each piece fit together. That's where the battery goes. There is already a battery in the case so I don't know if the battery that came with the device is an extra one or if the battery in bluetooth is temporary so I decided to put a new one in just in case.3. You are also completely free to decide how you insert the line. I'll update the rating when I test it in the water. But I couldn't find any reviews or questions about the latest 3rd version of this product so I thought I'd just add that for anyone who may be able to purchase this version. Outside. I'm so impressed! As you can see from the surf photos, I'm in the middle of the waves with the surfers. I was hit by a wave several times during the recording. You can see that the box allows for clear images even with water on the screen. The next test was actually under water. My subjects enjoyed preforming for me and we were all very happy with the results. As you can see, the closer you are to what you're photographing, the better the color. I make sure everything is dry before I take out my phone. If you take your phone out to look at photos and then put it back in the box to view more photos, do a quick test to make sure Bluetooth isn't turned off. I lost quite a few surfing photos as a result. The videos turned out fantastic too. Definitely worth its price. Just don't drop it on the floor because it will definitely break!
