A superb tent in many ways. Lots of interesting features. I have 6 people so not for hiking. Set up was easy enough. I can't comment on how it holds up in the rain or wind as I only tested it in my garden for about an hour. In the end it wasn't quite what I was looking for...once I set it up the footprint was bigger than I wanted. So I repackaged it and sent it back. Honestly, I'm looking for a unicorn tent that's big enough to stand in but doesn't take up much space, with front and back vestibules and windows, interior pockets, and a double front door with a screen that lets me outside view comfortably from my sleeping bag. This tent and the one I ordered from the kazoo came close but not quite right. I think they would be good family camping tents for most people. Well made from durable fabric, fairly good ventilation, relatively simple construction and good fly protection with a decent front vestibule. Not a bad tent to get stuck in the rain. It just didn't suit me. I've been an avid hiker for 40 years and I'm pretty damn careful about what I'm looking for, so I'll keep looking for my unicorn.
