It's much smaller than I imagined and the lid doesn't stop ie opens and leans against the wall or is almost parallel to the ground . The intention was to put a bench in the enclosed patio and stow slippers and shoe covers on the seat as I keep the house shoeless. nope not to be But! He's strong enough to keep me or my husband, which means he'll keep everyone we know. We're so pleased with it that we're ordering a second one, just keeping a couple of pairs of slippers in a pretty bushel basket in the corner. So yes, I'll buy it again, but since it's smaller than I thought I might not have given it a chance. Worth buying and *easy* to put together.
