My son has outgrown his winter coat and needed another to get through the rest of the season and this jacket was just what he needed. He doesn't like wearing heavy winter coats, even when it's freezing outside. But this jacket offers the warmth he needs while being light and compact enough to slip into a backpack when not needed. It sits well on it and we both love the vibrant blue colors - a nice alternative to plain black. Overall this jacket is great and meets all of our needs at a modest price.
