Works for me - Charger accessory

Ok I got it the other day and tried it today. It's funny that I still have a Tesla and a wall outlet, so to test I plugged in a Tesla wall outlet and then connected my J1772 Tesla to my Tesla adapter lol. In my test it ran with 24 A DC. I'll be trading my Tesla for a RAV4 Prime soon (for reliability reasons the Tesla man needs to improve the build quality and durability to get me back) so I ordered this part. I can tell you that the part appears to be a very solid and reliable construction. I'd love to take it apart and see how well it's finished inside, but for the price I won't risk it. When I bought the J1772 Tesla charging adapter, I liked that it was smaller than any competitor I saw. It takes up less space in the hatch luggage compartment. Please note that this device is not subject to any electrical standards, therefore use at your own risk. In my case, I keep it in my trunk for occasional use (maybe once a month) and the RAV4 Prime only draws 32A continuously, so I'm willing to take that risk. If you intend to use it regularly (i.e. daily) for the full 40A I'd recommend just buying a regular J1772 wall charger and charging it. If you have any questions please leave me a comment and I will do my best. Answer.
