Review on Remington Hyperflex Advanced Rotary Shaver by Sonia Washington

Very happy with this razor

I ordered this Remington Hyperflex razor for my husband. Including razor, charging cable, charging/carrying case, head protection, stubble head, cleaning brush and instructions. The razor has a fairly standard rotary razor design. What follows are my husband's comments. The most important aspects of a straight razor are the precision and evenness of the cut and whether it irritates the skin. This shaver convinces in all areas. I had stubble for several days when I first used this dry shaver. He cut through the stubble with no problem. There was a smooth, even shave throughout. I didn't feel any irritation. Of course, this is the case with new blades, so only time will tell how they will shave as they wear down. The next morning I tried a wet shave in the shower and it worked great. It didn't take me long to get used to this razor as it's similar to the one I've used before. I particularly like that the three individual heads are floating, as is the entire head assembly. This allows the razor to touch and hold the skin more easily. The shaver is equipped with a retractable trimmer. This shaver is quiet like most rotary shavers. There's no battery level indicator other than a red indicator that lights up when it's time to charge the battery. The manual states that the charging time is 4 hours and it is recommended not to charge the shaver until the charging indicator lights up to maximize battery life. There's a 5-minute quick charge that allows the shaver to complete a shave, which is good if you forgot to charge the shaver and are in a hurry. The operating time on a full charge is given as 60 minutes. As the shaver is charged via the charging case, you cannot use the shaver while it is plugged in. The charging cradle has two functions. It is both a stand and a travel protection device. The base has a pivot that allows you to rotate the stand base one way to create a stand and rotate it the other way to cover and protect the underside of the shaver. The kit includes an additional device: a nozzle for bristles. . This device attaches to the head and is used to hold the trimmer blades slightly above the skin to leave stubble behind after shaving. This is great for those who love the "unshaven" look. The only mention of this device is a sticker on the box; There is no mention of this in the instructions. One thing that bothers me is that there are two loading protrusions protruding from the bottom of the handle, which I sometimes feel when using a razor. It would be better if these thickenings were on the charging base and the razor handle remained smooth.
