I bought 2 of these, both plus sizes, black and maroon heather. (5ft 9,185lbs, waist 33, hips 41. Black came first and is very comfortable. It's a two layer jersey so you don't see every bulge, bump and line, no need to slip, but that's not real black either .It's definitely a casual skirt.It suits me,but if you try to wear it you may end up with a black color that doesn't match.The label says the material is 95% cotton and 5% spandex.You MUST go to Can be hung dry but as I wanted to go burgundy I decided to be bold and toss the black in the dryer. There was very minimal shrinkage after normal washing and machine drying. The photos show the black after drying compared to the burgundy that just came in the mail. Roughly 1/4 inch wide and 1/4 inch long.. I have squarer hips so it still works for me but it definitely feels like it would slip off but mostly stays a n in place part.. shape and doesn't stretch, I'm 5 9 and it hits just below my knees. My biggest tip is if you have a small waist with a bum or hips I would go down a size if you are a bit straighter and get smaller between sizes. I'm my normal size, but I'm wondering if I should have gone down. I'll try another in bulk, see what happens and update. Hope that helps. So here's the update. I ordered the next size down and there is a big size difference. This is thick leather. So I just keep buying xl (5 10, 190 pounds). I have several of these and they all hold up well to washing, drying and constant wear. Worst case scenario, if I FINALLY lose some of that weight 🙃 I'll correct it a bit
