I bought two sets from two different sellers. The photos were identical, but the items were not. The lower quality set was sold by Stuffems and the better quality set was sold by Inventiv. With Chinese companies, what you get is random and they all just use the same images. Our use: My daughter recorded parts of the Halloween song from The Nightmare Before Christmas on it. Then they placed them under the pumpkin-painted plates on the door decorated in The Nightmare Before Christmas classroom. The batteries have held up very well. The kids squeezed "pumpkin pools" to play regularly as they walked the hall. probably more than 100 times. The "Stuffems" seller's set worked well but sounded "tinny" and the song was muted. The "Inventors" kit had much better sound quality. Since the sale the photos are the same. how do you distinguish them? The inferior models had 1.5 cm play buttons, while the higher quality models had 1/2 cm buttons that obviously had nothing to do with functions. they were microphones. The recording mics were simply better sold at the "imaginative" ones.
