These shorts are extremely soft and comfortable. The pockets are deep enough to hold a large phone. I purchased these to bike commute to work. My body type is "fit but eats bread" and I'm blessed with enough butt to fill out my jeans, so take it for what it's worth. I'm still going to use them for their intended purpose, but "squat proof" and "not see through" are two claims that I take seriously. If they were 100% opaque during the bend-over test, this would have been a solid 5 star rating.I also want to note that the fabric is similar to Lularoe leggings rather than Lululemon is you're looking for a comparison :)
