The cable is technically the same as CAT5e, but is generally one of the smaller cable classes I've worked with. The outer PVC jacket is so thin that the cable can be kinked extremely easily when exiting the box. I mean, if you're doing some house wiring, you'll probably be fine. If you're doing commercial work or somewhere that's subject to some degree of wear and tear, spend the extra money and buy the next pack of better quality cables.
