I needed space for my collection of sock needles and related products. I wanted something that would protect my small needles so they would all be in one place, not too big and bulky, that would fit in my knitting bag and prevent losing my precious collection of sock needles. Especially my 9" HiyaHiya wheels in sizes 1-3 which I treasure. I wasn't in the mood to make my own bag and when I saw this I immediately ordered it. I ordered it in gray and I really like it..The fabric is identical to my large knitting case that I keep all my full size straight and interchangeable knitting needles in, so now it looks like I have a set to match.Lots of room here, and I mean LOTS of space for everything. The zipped compartments on the back are great for index cards with my sock pattern, my mini pen, my small notepad, my special sock markers, mini scissors and anything else I need when I'm making socks and I have space. ! It's not too big and not bulky at all, but because it's soft yet durable, I bet I can probably fit a few more things in here. Also, it will be great when I travel because it won't take up too much space in my luggage. I love that the pockets can hold more than one set of pins as my collection of sock pins starts to grow. I also like that nothing falls out of this thing, all my needles are protected and everything is fine when i need it. I no longer have to rummage through the bottom of my bag of ideas when making socks. I love this case and would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their needles safe and secure. The shipper received it via Prime the next day. Excellent price. All in all it was a great purchase.
