It's not worth it. on compact fluorescent lamps

Lamps were delivered with broken elements in both bulbs. Everything looked fine visually, but you could hear the broken element rattling inside the bulb. Replacement bulbs (which were actually a different brand) were the same. Stop buying lightbulbs online, fluorescent or otherwise.

Pros

LIFETIME: The average lifespan is 8000 hours. Uses 75% less energy than a traditional incandescent bulb and lasts 6-15 times longer.
