I've already run Cat6 around the house as well as between all network devices (I have my own modem, router, access points etc.). I haven't messed around with Cat8 cables at all, let alone flat ones. I connected this cable from my PC to the wall (so the wall to the switch, router and modem is still Category 6) and was surprised to see better latency as well as a slight increase in download speed! I actually pay for 400/20Mbps on the Spectrum but get slightly higher speeds because I have my own hardware. I would definitely recommend this cable and maybe buy more to use between the switch and router to see if there is the same latency increase across the house. Our house is full of gamers, so latency is our top priority. For full disclosure, I ran 10 tests over a period of approximately 15 minutes for each cable type and the images provided are the best of each. Tests were run in safe mode with no other services running on the PC (confirmed with Wireshark as well as my PiHole DNS server).
