Review on 🏃 Nathan Quick Shot Plus Portable Hydration Pack by Jason Martinez

I have a lot of portable running bottles. And these are the worst. There are two BIG problems with the design of this: 1. The bottle has a "leather" collar that you have to insert the neck of the bottle into and then screw on the cap. Well this yoke is so tight and so close to the threads that when you unscrew the cap the yoke gets in the way (like some sort of gasket) and leaks.2. The base that holds the bottle is so poorly designed that it is VERY difficult to easily insert the bottle. That's because the band around the bottle that holds it up is grosgrain rather than a stretch material. It has no stretch at all. So you have to spend time fighting it just to put in/take out the bottle. I also don't like that you can't see how much liquid is left because it's not clear. However, I like the spout because it spreads quickly and evenly without much effort. But only in this case there are more minuses than pluses. I would not recommend it. However, if you need a larger bottle, the new 16 oz. has been redesigned with an elastic band at the bottom and no tight "leather" collar at the top, and is much easier to work with. I would recommend that instead. I hope Nathan redesigns the 8 oz. and 10 oz. Bottles should be like new 16 ounces. this.
