I drink LOTS of ice tea and also chew ice (don't hit me I heard enough about this from my dentist but anyway - my freezer doesn't make ice cubes anymore (I think I've run out poor thing) so I made ice cream out of regular blue bowls, but I only have room for a few of these, meaning I had to pop them multiple times a day (faster) I would only fill the bowls halfway though, which only resulted in that they broke when I twisted them to push the ice out. The cubes stick together so it would be difficult to get them through the dispenser in the door (which still works, thank goodness mini trays, I was intrigued. They were a little warped from being shrink wrapped, but I soaked them in hot water to soften them a little, folded them straight, folded them upside down with the pan on top until they cooled and they didn't straighten up right away (well most of them but I did now just put it on top). They're strong enough to be carried with one hand, even when folded and filled with water. This is the perfect cube. Sure, they melt a little faster than full-size cubes, but I am not the type to leave a glass of tea sitting around anyway and it's easy to chew. I was so impressed I bought more. The best part is I have twelve bowls of enough ice (and more!) on my freezer shelf! ) for a whole day so I only have to open it once. This keeps the cubes from sticking together in the basket and they are small enough to always fit through the dispenser without snagging or snagging on anything. so good i bought them twice.
