I bought this vinyl to use for glass etching. I cut an 8.5 inch piece of vinyl and then put it in my printer for my printer to print onto paper backing. I then attached it to a cutting board and used a precision knife to cut out my design. Stick the vinyl on the glass, apply the etching cream, wait the prescribed time and wash it off. Vinyl is easy to cut, but not so thin that it's difficult to work with. stuck and it presented very nice sharp edges for my design. Removal from the glass was very easy and left little to no residue.
