My ears are used to headphones, they don't hurt when I'm listening to music or watching a movie on my tablet, but they hurt when I use this headset. I love the fact that it's reversible so I can switch it from ear to ear. Nonetheless, I would buy this item again. If I did, I'd just put some glue on the headphone cover in a spot where it wouldn't bother me before I start using it.
