So, first things first. If you're looking for a small and stylish wireless charger, this isn't it. This charging pad is primarily about aesthetics and experience. When you connect the charging pad for the first time, it goes through a simple start-up sequence in which the LEDs come to life. When I first plugged it in I was blown away by how many LEDs it had and how well they could fill the 'magic' runes on the pad. After this LED startup sequence, the lights will turn off again until you place a Qi-enabled device on top. Once you do that, the same boot sequence will begin, and once it completes, your device will start charging. I find the performance of this charging pad charming. It does its job well and even gives you the option to charge it at 5W or 10W via Micro-USB or USB-C. If I could see an added feature it would be a switch that turns on the LEDs even when the device is not on the panel. All in all, if you're looking for a fun way to charge your phone (and an obvious way to start a conversation), this is the charging pad for you. Much luck!
