Heavy duty material for the exterior of the case. It doesn't feel like it's easy to bend or pinch. Nice smooth zipper and soft felt lining inside the case. I have an old 3DS XL and it fits perfectly in the mesh case even with the case on. I can put the charging cable in a zipped pouch, but I use an Apple power adapter on my charger and this pouch is very difficult to close once inside. Also, closing with this adapter inside leaves a bulge at the top of the case that I think will deform it after a while. All in all, this is a solid case that gets the job done and allows you to carry 16 games at once. but there is a design flaw in carrying the charger. Nonetheless,
