Review on 🖤 Black Kolpin Rear Trail Box - 93201 by Carlos Alston

The first ride was a four day trail ride at Hatfield and McCoy in West Virginia. On the first day of using the box, one of the two latches didn't click into place. It popped open while riding and I often had to check and reach back to snap it back into place while riding the trail. On the last day of trail riding, all of the cover came off and ended up on the trails. There are small caps with hinges, they got lost and never found on the way when the cap came loose. Luckily this was the last day of skiing. I brought the box home, drilled out the hinges, inserted the PVC pipe and glued the plugs to the PVC to make new hinges that went through the box and lid. The next trip was another 4 day trip back to the same place. The new hinges worked great and the clasps matched better and never had to use a lock that didn't stay locked. With my modification it finally works as it should.
