This destroyed my charging port on my Pixel XL on first use. The phone was charging when I received a new charger and cable in the mail (both Anker and Pixel). I plugged it in to test a new charger and it didn't work. But then I couldn't charge my phone on any charger. After hours of testing multiple chargers, restarting my phone, and making calls, I had to take it to a Pixel repair shop. Upon checking, they told me that my charging connector was blown and needed to be replaced. The repair shop warned me not to use third-party chargers and USB-C cables with the Pixel. To be clear the phone was working just before it was connected to a new charger and my phone's charging port then had to be replaced after a single use. .
