I used to love Oral-B Tape floss but have just had trouble with it for the past year. The thread was never routed properly, I had to open and reposition it and it broke like crazy. Hence the search for a new thread. I have arches of braces and trying to floss can be a real challenge. I hate dental floss tips so I needed dental floss that I could thread under the wire between my teeth. This thread makes it possible! It's a bit more flexible, but can be rotated and made "stronger". It glides easily and smoothly. The only complaint I have is that it's so damn slippery I have a hard time wrapping it around my fingers and staying there. So. To achieve this, I usually use more than I probably have in the past. Overall this is a keeper and I am very happy with the purchase
