I've been using their cases for years and this is my choice. I didn't guess the fingerprint reader's reason for me in this case, and to be honest either case is mostly irrelevant. If the phone has a crappy reader there's not much a case can fix, but in the case of this phone it's on the front of the screen, not the back, so that's not an issue. Anyway, I've had plenty of otters save my phone from drops that could potentially damage my screen if it wasn't, and this one is no different.
