I'm shocked this product has so many good reviews - it's cheap and flimsy. I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but come on, there's no way this thing is going to perform like some reviewers are claiming - like on a boat? HA! I installed the tablet and after 30 seconds it fell to the ground. There is no clamping mechanism, the holder basically holds the tablet in place with a light squeeze, then tighten the knob to "lock" it in place. Forget using it in landscape mode, the tablet crashes instantly, and it's a little better in portrait mode. And the attachment point? What the heck about the offset die? It should be in the middle, not on the side - again - maybe it works in portrait but not at all in landscape. Finally, there is no positive "lock" even in landscape mode, so the hand will detach from the tablet holder as soon as you hit a bump. Absolutely useless product - don't let all the rave reviews fool you. The only positive thing about this item is the price - and I won't even waste time returning it, it went straight into the bin.
