Review on Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 Blue LED Square Frame Fan, Air Balanced Curve Blade, Sealed Bearing, PWM Control for Computer Case & Liquid Radiator by Jeffery Pricinoc

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great RGB fans with excellent airflow.

Sub $50 RGB 3-fan kit comparison with good airflow (spec). Competitors are Pccooler Dawn Series 3M120HALO LED RGBCooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGBID Cooling XF-12025-RGB-TRIO-SNOWBuild Quality Rating: Cooler Master > ID Cooling >>> PccoolerPccooler looks a lot cheaper in build quality compared to the other two. Cooler Master comes in white which is nice. It comes with BlackID Cooling extensions that offer no jacketed cables while Pccooler has jackets. Airflow Rating: Cooler Master > ID Cooling >> PccoolerPccooler Dawn Series 3M120HALO LED RGB is for max airflow 72 CFM @ 2000 RPMCooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB is for max airflow max 62 CFM at 1800 rpm Cooling The XF- 12025-RGB-TRIO-SNOW is for max airflow rate 74.5cfm at 1800rpm Test Method I measured airflow in m/s and used a 60mm radius conversion calculator. Using an anemometer, the airflow was spaced approximately 8 inches from the fans. The fans are set to maximum speed in the BIOS. The ID cooling should have good airflow. It seems that both PcCooler and ID-Cooling exaggerate the airflow values. The Cooler Master with the lowest specs was even the winner in the airflow test at 62 CFM. RGB Intensity Rating: Cooler Master > Pccooler >>> ID CoolingID Cooling uses a 12V RGB connector and supports switching modes with the included IR remote control. Pccooler and CM both use 5V ARGB connectors to support RGB lighting. The ID cooling looks rather boring compared to the other two. The colors are also not as accurate compared to the other two. Maybe it's the 12V RGB. I'm not sure about that. Noise Rating (Spec): Cooler Master > Pccooler >> ID Cooling. Conclusion: Overall, Cooler Master wins in all categories for me, so keep it up. If you need RGB fans under $50 with good airflow, go for the Sickleflow V2.
