I really like the features of this mug warmer because it adjusts for glass, metal, or ceramic mugs. I "tested" it out by allowing my coffee to get cold, then put it on the warmer and adjusted it for a ceramic mug. After a few minutes, it was the perfect temperature. Much easier than putting in the microwave and guessing at the correct number of seconds to get it to the right temperature. You will always know the coffee is hot enough but won't worry about burning your tongue! I really like the safety feature of it turning off automatically after you lift up your mug.
