We have used this set twice, it's really fun and easy to do with kids. There are three colors and a fourth bottle with mixing instructions for the fourth color. The colors are very beautiful - bright and harmonize well with each other. This is by far the easiest way to easily tie dye and a relatively small amount of clothing. Last time we dyed 6 baby overalls, 3 baby shirts, 5 large baby shirts and 1 large adult shirt. We still had dye. My only criticisms: 1. There should be more plastic gloves, even if you do it yourself you will in all likelihood need at least one more pair. 2. You will probably need more rubber bands depending on what you color and pattern. which you choose.3. Using aerosol cans isn't the best way to set paint if you don't. I don't want much white. I dyed some overalls for my baby and they had pretty good coverage, but even my toddler's 2T shirts were whiter than I would like and the bigger the shirts get the worse it gets. And we tried to saturate, but it just doesn't penetrate the center very well. I would suggest using bottles to mix the dyes and then using small bowls or even gallon sized ziplock bags to just let the shirts soak in the dye for a while, about 20 minutes.
