This is the third pair of Stride Ride shoes we've bought! Even if they are a little expensive, they are worth the money. My 3 year old son is now a size 8, but since he "walks on tiptoe," he has to wear orthotics/braces to get his feet flat on the ground; We buy this brand of shoes in sizes larger and wider than his usual size. At the moment, Stride Rite is the only shoe brand that adapts to our needs! For the foot/leg support we bought size 10XW in navy blue and for the metal support/insole size 9W in brown and they true to size. perfect without looking too big for his leg. We will be buying these shoes as long as he has to wear braces and more because these shoes are comfortable, well made and beautifully made!
